This site links to websites whose content we do not control. Responsibility for that content rests with its operator. Links were checked for obvious unlawfulness when set. Monitoring them permanently without a concrete indication of an infringement is not reasonable, and a link is removed promptly once we learn of a violation.

What personal data is processed, where customer project files are stored, under which jurisdiction, and what happens to the bytes when something is deleted are set out in the Privacy Policy. Processing carried out on a customer's behalf is governed by the Data Processing Agreement.

Send legal, data protection, billing and law enforcement requests by email. A request should identify the requesting party, the legal basis, the account affected and the action sought. We may require identity verification, the customer's authorisation, or valid legal process before we disclose or change anything.

Syncture holds customer project files. Where a workspace was created with encryption off, which is the default, a request for the contents of its files is one we are technically able to answer. In an encrypted workspace those contents are held under a 256-bit key generated on the customer's own machines, and we hold no key with which to open them. Names, paths, byte lengths, publish records, the share graph and lock state are held in readable form for every workspace, and the Privacy Policy lists them.

A request is answered only against valid legal process binding on an Austrian sole proprietor, and never on an informal approach. Where a request concerns a customer's files we are the processor and that customer is the controller. We will refer the requesting party to them and tell the customer, unless we are lawfully forbidden from telling them.

Security reports are welcome by email. Include the steps to reproduce, the endpoints affected, the impact you believe it has, and a way to reach you. Reports are acknowledged within two business days.

We will not pursue a good-faith researcher who stays within their own account, respects the privacy of other customers, stops at the first sign of somebody else's data, and gives us a reasonable time to fix the issue before publishing it. Do not test against accounts you do not own. There is no paid bounty. Machine-generated notices and vulnerability claims carrying no technical detail are not answered.
