Syncture compared
Most offices share a Revit model in one of four ways, and each works until a second office, a consultant or a client needs it. This page sets Syncture beside all four so your office can decide on facts.

Which Revit releases
Every statement about Autodesk's products was read on Autodesk's own pages on 10 October 2026. The comparison takes itself down 90 days after that day.
Autodesk also includes document management and clash detection, which Syncture does not have. Revit is needed with both and is not counted.
What changes with Syncture
No VPN and no server
The central lives in Syncture, and Revit works on a copy on each machine's own disk. A second office, a consultant abroad or a laptop at home opens it the same way, with nothing to run.
Every synchronize is a version
Each Synchronize with Central is kept and can be restored, and a restore is a new version. Nothing is overwritten and nothing is deleted to make it happen.
Models move without breaking
Rename a model or file it into a folder from the console or from Revit. No central is recreated and no link breaks.
Everyone you share with joins free
Share a folder with an email address or a whole firm. There is no seat to buy and no account for them to create, and the price stays the office's.
Your files, where you decide
An account created in Europe keeps files and records in the European Union. A workspace can be created in a bucket you run, with encryption on under a key you hold.
An exit you own
Every machine keeps its models as ordinary Revit files. A workspace in your own storage can be rebuilt from a copy of the bucket with a published script.
What Syncture does not do
Forma Design Collaboration also includes document management and clash detection. Syncture is Revit worksharing, versions and sharing, and nothing else.
There is no uptime figure and no certification, and the Terms say so. Syncture is written and run by one person, and the exit page says what that means for you.
